Will You Accept My Case?

How Do You Select Which Cases To Take?

Well the answer to that question, unfortunately, has been determined in large part by the aggressive claims-processing policies of the large insurance companies and Fortune 500 companies. Unfortunately, I can't afford to take every case that comes my way due to the fact that the Chamber of Commerce -- that is Fortune 500 companies and insurance companies -- are more than willing to spend millions of dollars per year defending every single piece of litigation or claims that come their way. So I have to be wise about the type of cases that I take.

So How Many Cases Do You Accept?

I turn away about eight or nine out of every ten cases that come my way just because I physically am unable to take on all of the cases. I simply couldn't stay in business in the current economic climate that has been created by the insurance companies and these large companies. If it costs me $15,000 to take a case from start to finish and the most that I could ever recover on behalf of an injured person is $20,000, then it doesn't make any sense for me to take your case because you're not going to get any money in the end, and you're not going to get your bills paid, and you're not going to get the type of future medical care that you need in order to get fully recovered from the type of injury you sustained, whatever it might be. And I'm going to be out of business, so I can't serve the next client that comes who really needs help. I have to be smart about that, so unfortunately I have to refuse more cases than I'd like to accept.

You Only Accept 10% - 20% Of Cases?

Yes, unforunately. It changes depending on the year, but it's about 10-20% at this point.

Should I Even Bother Trying To Hire You As My Attorney?

Yes! A person who reads this web page shouldn't get discouraged in reading that 10% - 20% acceptance rate. Don't say, "Well, maybe I won't even get a chance to get a real attorney like you to handle my case." You should never be afraid to contact me or any other personal injury attorney, because our consultation is free and even if we can't help you personally we can provide you with specific direction on how to handle getting the right medical care that you need, or point you in the right direction as far as next steps you can take, or provide you with an attorney referral to somebody else who we believe might be able to help you with your case. So this absolutely shouldn't deter you from contacting an attorney, as it can only help you.

With the help of an attorney like myself, I can put you on the right track with regard to what the next steps could or should be in your case. Call me today.
